
Neill Ketchum paints from the natural world, be it descriptive, as in landscapes or interior scenes, or narrative in which the painting tells a story. She works in oil, watercolor, and printmaking. Neill is widely exhibited in juried exhibitions in California, most recently, and all over the country in the last two decades. She has painted numerous public murals, and is writer and illustrator of the children's book, "Aloha in Chinatown."
She grew up in Atlanta, GA, and attended college on the east coast, and then by way of San Francisco, studied and worked in Germany. She returned to New York, earned her Masters in Art and taught. After finishing her Ph.D in Art Education at Florida State University, she taught at the University of Hawaii and California State University of Long Beach.
