8/28/09 5:00 pm THE NATURE OF GRAPHITE-The Art of Ray Brown Come out and enjoy Fallbrook's well known festival Hot Summer Nights for fun, music and chili.
Most of all come by the gallery for the opening of Ray Brown's current work and to speak with this renowned artist.
Ray has been working in graphite (pencil) for his entire career. The timeless quality evoked in his drawings comes from his mastery of this seemingly simple and time-honored medium. He delights in creating works that testify to his love of the natural world, especially the myriad of fauna that populate it. If you have not seen the amazing images Ray is able to create with only pencil and paper then you are in for a real treat. And if you are local to Fallbrook, look for several drawings featuring the Old Bonsall Bridge!
Hope to see you at the gallery. Call us at 760-728-8870 for more information. |
